Sandy is a Northern Virginia native who moved to Charlotte in January 2019 after living in Washington, D.C., for several years. Before moving, Sandy worked for the Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO), a trade association representing the biotechnology industry. While at BIO, Sandy supported the Industrial and Environmental Section holding a variety of meeting planning, project management, and administrative responsibilities. Prior to BIO, Sandy worked as a meeting coordinator for the American College of Radiology, a professional medical society representing radiologists. Sandy is a graduate of Virginia Tech and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology.
